What is the difference between Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) and Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC)?

Whey protein, a popular muscle-building supplement, comes in two main varieties: isolate and concentrate. WPI is more refined, resulting in a higher protein content (typically around 90%) with less fat, carbs, and lactose. This makes it ideal for those with lactose sensitivity. Whey concentrate contains lower protein (around 70%) and is not as gentle on digestion as WPI. It is not recommended for people with lactose sensitivity. WPI is our choice for it’s superior protein.
